Use the Driver App: complete walkthrough
Use the Driver App: complete walkthrough
Before you begin
This walkthrough summarizes a historical Driver App flow. It can help you recognize visible controls, but it does not prove that alerts, assignments, routing, status changes, signatures, messaging, or profile updates are available, accepted, or complete in the current project.
-
Enter your assigned Project Name in the designated field.
-
Input your registered Email and Password.
-
Tap Login to request access to the next Driver App state. The next visible screen depends on the session and project configuration.
Receive and accept orders
-
Keep the app open when your operating policy requires availability. Alerts can depend on device permissions, connectivity, and the assignment workflow.
-
If an alert is visible, tap it to open the associated task.
-
Scroll down to review the business pickup location, customer details, requested items, and order totals.
-
Tap Accept only when you are authorized to take the task; this requests an assignment change rather than proving acceptance.
-
Review the estimated delivery time on the next screen and confirm it only when it is appropriate for the task. A confirmation request and a final assignment result are separate.
Use navigation and routing
-
Open your active order and tap the Map icon located at the top right of the screen.
-
Choose your preferred GPS application from the menu, such as Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Uber.
-
The external map provider owns the route that follows. Return to Driver App and verify its visible delivery state instead of assuming that a provider handoff succeeded.
Update an order status
-
Use Pickup complete only after the pickup policy is satisfied. The control requests a status change; it does not prove server acceptance or downstream notification.
-
Use Arrived to customer only when the delivery policy permits that status.
-
If a signature field is visible, follow the approved handoff process. Its visibility does not prove that a signature capture or storage result is available.
-
Use Delivery complete only after the handoff policy is satisfied. Do not assume the task moved to Completed until the app shows that result.
Review messages and logs
-
Navigate to the Messages tab located in the bottom menu bar.
-
Select a permitted previous or current order to review the status information the app makes available.
-
Use this hub to review the conversations and updates that are visible for that delivery. Visibility does not prove message delivery or receipt.
Manage your profile
-
Tap the Profile tab in the bottom right corner of the app.
-
Edit can change account information; use it only through the approved driver-account workflow.
-
Tap Schedule to review your assigned working hours.
-
Tap Sessions to view or securely log out of active devices.
-
Select the language dropdown menu to change your app's display language.
Use additional tools
-
Tap the Filter icon at the top right of the Orders dashboard to search for specific tasks by order number, date, or city.
-
The green Status Dot can expose a connection-related control. Do not treat it as proof of a live server connection without an observed result.
-
Navigate to Map View to review any location context the app makes available. Map visibility depends on permissions, configuration, and current data; it does not prove continuous tracking.
