Understand an active delivery
An active delivery opens in Order details. This overview explains the screen structure and visible states without instructing you to change the order.
Availability
Open Orders and select a current delivery. The active list can include orders at several assignment, pickup, transit, and customer-arrival stages. The exact status, fields, warnings, and actions depend on the order, delivery type, project configuration, permissions, connectivity, and later realtime updates.
Opening an order can start order, business, message, and auxiliary reads. It can also register realtime listeners and begin location refresh or following before you select a control. Open only the delivery you are authorized to review.
Open this capability
- From Orders, identify the current delivery you want to review.
- Select its card to open Order details.
- Wait for the loading placeholders to clear.
- Review the order summary and information sections without selecting a map, message, copy, or status-action control.
- Use the back arrow to return to Orders.
This read-only overview stops before every status, map, message, clipboard, contact, review, payment, and provider-controlled action.
What drivers can understand
The detail screen can organize information into these areas:
- an order summary with the displayed identifier, current status, delivery position when available, order type, payment summary, and timing;
- expandable business, customer, and custom-field sections;
- products and order totals;
- location-validation warnings relevant to a later delivery action;
- map, message, copy, and stage-action controls when their conditions are met; and
- repeated member information when a supported logistics group is supplied.
The displayed status can change after the screen opens when a matching realtime order update arrives. Treat the page as a changing, temporary view and recheck the order before making a decision; it is not a freshness or settlement receipt.

Effects and boundaries
Viewing active-delivery details can involve authenticated reads, message loading, realtime room membership, order and driver-location listeners, and location collection. These effects have separate loading, error, reconnect, and cleanup boundaries.
The status buttons shown on the page are mutation boundaries. Selecting one can change the order and trigger history, location, message, notification, reporting, realtime, logistics, or provider effects. They are intentionally outside this overview and are covered by their task-specific guides.
Troubleshooting
- If the order cannot be loaded, select Go to my orders, refresh the list, and reopen only the intended delivery.
- If the identifier or status changes while you are reading, pause and review the updated order before continuing.
- If location access is unexpected, leave the detail screen and review the Driver App's location-permission guidance.
- If a logistics group looks incomplete, return to Orders and verify each member card rather than assuming the group is synchronized.
