View the Driver profile
The Profile tab brings together the account information and account-related destinations available to a Driver. This overview is limited to reviewing the screen; editing data and selecting operational controls belong to separate guides.
Availability
Select Profile from the bottom navigation while signed in as a Driver. The screen can vary with project configuration, account data, validation-field settings, and loading or error state.
When Profile becomes the active route, the Driver App can request refreshed user data, update the in-memory session, and persist the refreshed local user copy. That refresh can also trigger related account processing. Treat displayed values as a view to review, not as proof that every account or provider effect has settled.
Open this capability
- Select Profile in the bottom navigation.
- Wait for the loading placeholders to clear.
- Review the profile image or default avatar, availability area, configured fields, and account destinations.
- Leave every toggle, image, edit, sign-out, and removal control unchanged if you only intend to review the profile.
Tapping the profile image can open the device photo library and can lead directly to a profile-photo update. It is not a read-only preview control.
What drivers can understand
Depending on configuration, Profile can show:
- a profile image or default avatar;
- an availability label and, when enabled, an availability toggle;
- configured read-only account fields, which can include identity or contact information;
- masked password and phone presentations when the configured field section is available;
- an Edit action when Driver data updates are allowed;
- Schedule and Sessions destinations;
- language and Sign out controls; and
- Remove account when account removal is allowed.
The availability label and toggle are an operational boundary, not a passive description. Configuration can hide the toggle or change the label, and the displayed value does not prove that schedule, distance, assigned-order, or server availability checks have settled.

Effects and boundaries
Viewing Profile can involve a user refresh, local session persistence, validation-field state, image optimization, and a shared realtime Driver-change listener. These operations do not form one proven snapshot.
The image, availability, Edit, Schedule, Sessions, language, Sign out, and Remove account controls have independent effects and ownership. This overview does not execute or certify any of them.
Troubleshooting
- If Profile remains in a loading state, switch away and return once. Avoid selecting controls while the user record is unresolved.
- If the configured fields cannot load, select Refresh profile once. If the error remains, report it rather than treating missing fields as empty values.
- If a field or availability value changes after navigation, review the updated value before continuing.
- If Edit or Remove account is missing, the current configuration may restrict that action; do not use the profile image or another control as a workaround.
- If you opened the photo library unintentionally, cancel it without selecting an image.
