# Professionals

Professionals use user level 8 and can have profile, schedule, and business/service relationship details. Available fields depend on the project. Review or change these records only when you have the required permissions.

> **Availability boundary**
>
> The `/users/professionals` route allows levels 0, 2, and 5. Although the item expression names levels 0 or 2 plus the Appointments feature and add-on, its enclosing **My addons** parent requires level 0, available add-ons, and a non-read-only account. Effective current sidebar reachability is therefore level 0 plus the parent and item gates. Direct route eligibility is not entitlement or API authorization.

## Review the professionals list

1. The page fixes the account filter and new-user type to level 8.
2. The authenticated list can query identity, contact, schedule, assignment, and active-state fields.
3. A selected record can expose Profile, Schedule, and Business & Services tabs.

## Profile, schedule, and service boundaries

The shared form can register a level-8 identity using project-configured profile, contact, credential, and image fields. The detail source separates:

- **Profile** for permitted account information.
- **Schedule** for the professional’s appointment availability.
- **Business & Services** to assign the businesses and services the professional can provide.

> **All management controls remain closed**
>
> Profile update, enabled-state change, deletion, schedule update, calendar link/sync, business selection, and service create/delete are authenticated writes or outbound effects. None was executed.

## Read, privacy, and API boundaries

Professional records can include names, contact details, photos, addresses, schedules, future-booking limits, businesses, products or services, and calendar state. API access to these records is limited by the signed-in user's permissions. Do not assume a read request is side-effect free.
