Brand Manager

Use Brand Manager to group stores under an Enterprise brand. A brand has its own name, logo, URL slug, enabled state, optional ribbon, and store assignments.

Availability

The /stores/brand route requires an administrator account. Its Brands menu entry also requires an Enterprise project and a non-read-only Stores menu session. Route eligibility and sidebar visibility are separate checks. The optional White Label tab additionally requires the whitelabel_brands_sites configuration.

Open Brands

  1. Select Stores in the Dashboard sidebar.
  2. Select Brands.
  3. Search by brand name, select a row to open it, or select Add brand.

This guide reflects fixed Dashboard and API source. It does not establish which revisions a hosted project serves, and loading the list is not presumed safe merely because the current client uses a read request. Use only an authorized project and do not expose real brand, store, owner, or contact data.

Create or edit a brand

In General, provide a name and select Save. Dashboard derives a slug from the name for a new brand; after creation, you can review and edit the slug.

You can also add a logo and configure an optional ribbon. Logo uploads accept PNG, JPEG, or JPG images up to 2 MB and open a crop dialog. A ribbon needs text, a color, and a shape when enabled.

Brand changes are persistent

Saving creates or updates the brand. The enabled switch in the list or panel saves immediately. Keep a copy of the approved logo and confirm the slug before saving, since a slug must be unique and cannot be only numbers.

Assign stores

Open an existing brand and select Businesses. Select individual stores or use Select all / Select none for the current result set.

Each selection change saves the store’s brand assignment immediately. Do not use bulk selection to explore the interface: a store can have its franchise_id changed or cleared as soon as you select it.

Disable or delete a brand

Use Enable to change the brand’s enabled state. Disabled brands are hidden from non-administrator brand queries.

The overflow menu includes Delete. The fixed API source models deletion as a persistent operation that changes the slug, soft-deletes the brand, and clears assigned stores' brand relationship. That source trace does not prove a hosted operation or every downstream effect completed. Review every assigned store first.

Troubleshooting

Why is Brands missing?

You need an Enterprise project and a Dashboard administrator account. A direct route does not substitute for the Enterprise menu entitlement.

Why can’t I save the brand?

A new brand needs a name and a unique slug. If ribbon is enabled, provide its text, color, and shape. Use a supported image under 2 MB for a logo.

Why did stores disappear from the brand?

They were deselected, moved to another brand, or the brand was deleted. Brand assignment is saved store by store.
