Plan a Data Studio reporting connection review

Google's product is now Data Studio, formerly Looker Studio. This note helps prepare a future reporting scope discussion. It is not a Dashboard setup procedure and does not confirm an Ordering.co connector, a report feed, an account connection, or automatic synchronization.

Keep Ordering.co report views separate

Ordering.co Dashboard provides distinct report surfaces:

  • Business reports is a combined business-performance and operations dashboard. Its guide identifies no CSV or other export action for that dashboard.
  • Enterprise reports is a separate catalog of individual report cards. Some cards can download results already loaded in the browser; controls and CSV structures vary by card.
  • Payment reports can offer a PDF history export or a CSV general report depending on the selected view, access, and project configuration. Do not infer a fixed export format or schema.

These documented native views do not establish a common data source for Data Studio. A download from an individual report is not an Ordering.co connector or a recurring export.

Separate Google's CSV upload from a direct connection

Google documents uploading CSV files into a Data Studio dataset, though the CSV-upload feature may still be rolling out to users. Adding files appends their rows instead of merging them, so repeated uploads can introduce duplicates. Google also documents a community-connector framework for third-party data sources. Those Google capabilities do not show that Ordering.co provides or supports a connector.

Whether a particular Ordering.co report file could be used with Google's CSV upload has not been established here. The upload process should not be described as live, scheduled, or synchronized with Ordering.co.

Prepare a project scope discussion

If your team wants to discuss future reporting options, identify:

  • The Ordering.co project and the business or other data scope involved.
  • The report family or Enterprise report card relevant to the question.
  • The fields, date period, timezone, and intended reporting audience.
  • Whether a manual file or an automatically refreshed data source would meet the intended use.

These are scoping questions, not confirmed integration requirements or a commitment to provide a connection. Do not include passwords, API keys, access tokens, or other credentials in a shared request. Report files can include sensitive commercial, payment-related, operational, or customer information; follow your project's authorization and data-handling process.
