Monitor current orders on a phone

Use the Orders workspace to scan the orders available to your signed-in account, recognize which queue needs attention, and open an order for a closer review. The queue is an operational view: confirm its connection and refresh state before acting on time-sensitive information.

Before you start

  • Sign in to the Business App with access to the relevant project and business.
  • Open Orders from the bottom navigation.
  • Use a network connection when you need current server data. Notification permission can help with alerts, but it does not replace checking the queue.

How the phone queue is organized

Area or stateWhat it showsWhen it appearsWhat to do next
My ordersOrder cards for the selected queueAfter the queue finishes loadingScan the business, order number or configured external ID, time, fulfillment type, and status.
Queue tabsOperational groups such as Pending, In Progress, Completed, and CancelledThe exact grouping can change with project configurationSelect the group that matches the work you are reviewing.
Status filtersStatuses inside the selected groupWhen the group contains more than one statusSelect a status to narrow the list, or select All to restore the group.
StatusRealtime connection state and its last update timeIn the phone headerOpen it when the queue may not be updating as expected.
Refresh controlA new request for the current queueWhile the device is connectedSelect the refresh icon or pull down on the list.
Load more ordersThe next available pageWhen the current result has another pageLoad the next page without changing queues.

Select an order card to open its details. Review the customer, items, totals, fulfillment information, payment information, and available actions in the order view before making an operational decision.

Check data freshness

The app requests a queue when you first open a group, when you change a status filter, and when you refresh. It can also apply incoming order events to the visible groups. These mechanisms have different owners, so a visible card or alert is not proof that the entire queue is current.

  • If Status shows Disconnected or Connecting, reconnect and refresh before treating the queue as current.
  • If Last Update appears, you may be looking at stored order data. Do not use that view as confirmation of a new order or a recent status change.
  • If a search or filter is active, clear it when an expected order is missing.

Verify the result

The intended queue tab is selected, its order cards are visible, and Status shows Ok. Connecting and Disconnected do not satisfy this check. For time-sensitive work, refresh once and verify the order again in its details view.

Limits and variations

  • Your account and business scope determine which orders the service returns.
  • A project can combine pending and in-progress work into an Active queue.
  • Configured external order IDs and timing indicators may change the information shown on a card. Their presence does not change the underlying order scope.
  • Realtime events, in-app alerts, and operating-system notifications are related but separate. Provider delivery and deployed-build parity are not established by this source-based article.
  • On a sufficiently wide tablet layout, the app uses a split list-and-detail workspace instead of this single-column flow.

Troubleshooting

Sorry, no results foundThe selected queue or filters returned no visible ordersCheck the queue and active filters, then refresh.
Network ErrorThe queue request did not return usable dataRestore connectivity, then refresh before acting.
