Copy order information safely
Use the copy icon in order details to place a formatted order summary on the device clipboard for an authorized operational tool. The copied text can contain personal and business information, and the app does not verify where it is pasted or how long the clipboard retains it.
Before you start
- Sign in to the intended project, open Orders, and select the correct order.
- Verify the order number and status. The copy icon is not shown for a pending order and can be unavailable for some logistics or grouped orders.
- Open the approved destination before copying. Confirm that the destination, recipient, account, and access controls are correct.
- Do not copy on a shared or unmanaged device unless your organization's data-handling policy allows it.
The copied text can include:
- Order number and status, payment method name, and fulfillment type.
- Business name, email, phone numbers, address, and address notes when present.
- Customer name, email, phone numbers, address, and address notes when present.
- Products, quantities, options, product comments, and prices.
- Subtotal, driver tip, service-fee information, and total.
Complete the task
- In order details, compare the order number, status, business, customer, items, and total with the task you are completing.
- Select the copy icon in the order header.
- When Copy to clipboard. appears, switch directly to the approved operational tool.
- Paste into the intended protected field.
- Review the pasted text before saving, sending, or submitting it. Remove any customer or business fields that the destination does not need.
- Follow your device and organization policy to replace or clear the clipboard after use. The Business App does not provide confirmation that clipboard data was cleared.
Verify the result
Copy to clipboard. indicates that the app called the device clipboard with the formatted text. It does not prove that:
- the clipboard is private;
- another app did not read or retain it;
- the paste reached the intended field;
- the destination saved or sent the text; or
- the clipboard was cleared afterward.
Verify the pasted order number and contents in the destination. If the paste is empty, incomplete, stale, or in the wrong place, do not submit it.
Recover safely

Availability and platform differences
- The copy action is a device clipboard handoff. Clipboard visibility, retention, synchronization, history, and access by other applications depend on the platform, device configuration, and installed software.
- The current copy format is fixed. There is no in-app field selector or preview before the clipboard write.
- Missing optional fields are omitted, but the app does not minimize the remaining payload for a particular destination.
- Copying does not change the order or call a separate server write. The order data was already loaded for the details view.
- The displayed behavior is source-intended for the documented version. Installed app, device, and deployed service equivalence have not been verified.
