Business App overview

The Business App is an operator workspace for reviewing orders, communicating about orders, working with businesses, and managing the signed-in account. The exact data and actions available depend on the selected project, the account's technical access level, business scope, configuration, and device.

Before you start

• Use an account with technical access level 0 or 2. Other technical levels do not pass the Business App's current access check.
• Confirm that you are entering the intended project when project selection is shown. Changing the project changes the workspace context.
• Use only the businesses and order data assigned to your account. Seeing a tab does not guarantee permission for every action inside it.
• Keep a network connection available for current order, message, and business data. The app can also initialize notification and realtime services after sign-in.

Understand the workspace

After the initial loading state, the app shows project selection when that mode is enabled, then sign-in. An authenticated account enters the main workspace and can use the visible Orders, Messages, Businesses, and Profile tabs.

The Orders area changes with the device. A phone uses a queue-first flow, while a supported tablet layout can show an order list beside its details. The other tabs remain separate destinations in the bottom navigation.

Project and business scope are important boundaries:

• The selected project determines which Ordering environment the app addresses.
• Technical access level 2 is narrowed to businesses associated with the account in the current source-intended flow.
• Technical access level 0 and level 2 both pass the Business App access check, but that check is not a complete permissions model.
• Each server-backed action can apply additional authorization, validation, and configuration rules.

Follow a safe first journey

1. Confirm the project if Project Name and Set project are shown.
2. Sign in with an allowed method and an account at technical access level 0 or 2.
3. Wait for the main workspace to appear.
4. Choose Orders, Messages, Businesses, or Profile based on the task.
5. Before changing an order, business, message, or account, verify the affected record and the action's result in the relevant guide.

Limits and variations

• Login methods can vary by project configuration. The presence of a login option does not establish a commercial plan or entitlement.
• Business and order results can differ between accounts because project, business, and server-side scope are applied separately.
• Notification, realtime, location, external-app, and printer behavior requires its own platform or provider conditions.
• Current source contains an introductory tutorial component, but it is not registered in the app's current navigation. Do not rely on an in-app tutorial being available.
• A source-intended flow does not prove that every deployed app and API environment behaves identically.

If something looks different

Sign-in succeeds elsewhere but the Business App closes the session.	The account may not use technical access level 0 or 2.	Ask the project administrator to verify the account's technical level and Business App access.
A business or order is missing.	The selected project, account-linked business scope, filters, data freshness, or server authorization may exclude it.	Confirm the project and filters, refresh once, then ask the project administrator to review account scope.
A tab or action is visible but cannot complete.	Visibility and action authorization are separate.	Keep the record unchanged, note the visible error, and follow the task-specific troubleshooting guidance.
No introductory tutorial appears.	The current navigation does not register the tutorial component.	Use this documentation to start; do not reinstall or reset the app just to look for the tutorial.
