Delivery driver manager
Review the users assigned to deliveries.
The Delivery Driver Manager gives operations teams one place to review in-house drivers, their availability, and the deliveries assigned to them. Use it to confirm who is working, locate the person responsible for an active order, and keep driver access current.
Manage delivery drivers
- Open Delivery: From the main sidebar, open Delivery, then select Driver Manager.
- Find a driver: Search by name, email, or phone number. Use the status filter to focus on available, busy, or inactive drivers.
- Review the profile: Open a driver to confirm contact details, current status, assigned delivery group, and recent delivery activity.
- Check an assignment: For an active delivery, verify the linked order and business before contacting or reassigning the driver.
- Update access: Activate or deactivate a driver when their working status changes. Deactivating an account preserves its history while preventing new assignments.
Operational checks
- Confirm a driver is available before assigning a delivery.
- Keep phone numbers current so dispatchers and customers can reach the assigned driver.
- Use delivery groups to separate in-house fleets by business, city, or service area.
- Review inactive and duplicate driver accounts regularly.
- Never delete or deactivate a driver who still owns an active delivery; reassign the order first.
