Update a configuration

API operation: Open the endpoint in Scalar

Use PUT /configs/{config} to update one configuration by its numeric identifier. The current public operation is Config.update.

The final path parameter is {config} and identifies the configuration. Older integrations may refer to this identifier as config_id.

The route is restricted to server or administrator access. Send only fields that need to change. key, value, type, options, and image follow type-specific validation; image-backed type 5 can store the processed image result as value.

Protected or confidential configuration behavior is enforced by the controller. Do not include real provider credentials or protected values in request examples, logs, documentation, or client-side code.
