Delete a user

API operation: Open the endpoint in Scalar

Use DELETE /users/{user} to delete a user by numeric ID. The operation documented here is User.delete.

The final path parameter user identifies the user to delete by numeric ID.

The documented schema requires authentication. Non-administrators can delete only their own user account; administrators can delete other users but not their own account. Protected users and administrator accounts marked as protected in project settings cannot be deleted.

The operation may update unique identity fields before soft-deleting the user. Treat it as a destructive soft delete and confirm the target account before proceeding.
