Create a user

API operation: Open the endpoint in Scalar

Use POST /users to create a user. The operation documented here is User.register.users.

The documented schema defaults a requested user level to customer level 3, but allowed roles depend on the authenticated caller and project signup settings. Do not infer that only administrators can create every non-customer role.

A standard registration requires contact and password data according to the current schema. Privileged flows can accept either email or cellphone and can create a user without a password so the user can complete credentials later. Project settings can also allow configured business, driver, or professional signup flows.
